India has won nine Asia Cup titles, more than any other team. India has won the Asia Cup twice in the T20 format, most recently in 2016 and again in 2025. In the ODI format, they have seven titles: 1984, 1988, 1990, 1995, 2010, 2018, and 2023. Pakistan has won two Asia Cups (both in the ODI format) and Sri Lanka has won six (five in the ODI format and one in the T20 format).
India’s win-loss record in T20Is versus Pakistan while chasing is 9-0. These are the most games played by any team versus an opponent that has a perfect chasing record. Additionally, it prolonged the victory streak of the pursuing side in the India-Pakistan Twenty20 Internationals, which were contested in Dubai. India has won four of its six encounters, while Pakistan has won two.
India needed 127 runs at the end of their third wicket. After losing three wickets, it is the second-highest they have ever successfully pursued in a Twenty20 International. At the 2022 T20 World Cup, they were 26 for 3 in a chase of 160, which is the highest score of 134, also against Pakistan.
The highest total from which any side was bowled out under 150 in men’s Twenty20 Internationals was 113, which was Pakistan’s total at the fall of their second wicket. Cayman Islands’ 112 versus Bermuda earlier this year, when they were bowled out for 142, was the previous highest.
Pakistan’s last eight partnerships have added 33 runs, the fewest the team has in a men’s Twenty20 International. Last year in Hobart, Pakistan’s lowest score was 56 versus Australia. India defeats Pakistan 9-0 in chases.
